M.A.T.

On a mission to give $1 to charity for each new character.

TORONTO, ON January 7, 2010—Mission Against Terror (M.A.T.), everyone's favorite free-to-play shooter from Wicked Interactive, today announced that it is extending its campaign with Gamers Outreach to benefit the wounded soldiers at Dallas Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Beginning in December, Wicked Interactive has been donating $1(USD) to Project GO Kart for every new account created in Mission Against Terror. Project GO KART is a division of Gamers Outreach that funds the construction of portable entertainment kiosks which are used to transport video games and other sources of entertainment to patients who have limited access to activities outside their rooms.

"Wicked Interactive's campaign is very generous," said Zach Wigal, Executive Director, Gamers Outreach. "Downloading the game and creating a character is an incredibly easy way for people to support the Dallas, Texas VA Hospital, and help us get them a GO Kart!"

"We are not going to rest until we have achieved this goal for Gamers Outreach," added Sam Ho, Director, Wicked Interactive. "We owe our freedom to these brave men and women. The least we can give them is a few minutes of our time to get involved in this campaign."

Set in a near-future not so different from our own time, M.A.T. pits teams against one another in a bitter battle for the survival of the human race. Unanimously hailed for its solid game-play and wide variety of game modes, M.A.T. has taken North America by storm, after becoming quite popular in Asia and other parts of the world.

Most recently, M.A.T. has announced AI Mode, the latest game update which brings AI-controlled robots and other surprises to the supernaturally-charged shooter. For more information, visit: http://mat.subagames.com.
