Luxology Taps Industry Veteran Bob Bennett for VP of Marketing

Bennett to Lead Expansion of the modo Community; Brings Over 15 Years Experience in Computer Graphics Software Development and Marketing at Leading Companies

San Mateo, Calif. - June 27, 2006 - Luxology® LLC, an independent technology company developing next-generation 3D content creation software, today announced that Bob Bennett has joined the team as Vice President of Marketing. An active player in the 3D software field for over 15 years, Bennett has held key positions at leading software developers such as Alias Systems, Microsoft and Autodesk. Joining Luxology's notorious team of industry gurus, Bennett's exceptional level of skill and experience will expand Luxology's core knowledge and provide a driving force in modo's market expansion.

An industry veteran in the computer graphics software field, Bob Bennett has had product management responsibilities for more than 20 software products over the course of the last 15 plus years. Bennett joined Autodesk in the late 1980s and launched the award-winning Autodesk Animator and Autodesk 3D Studio - two pioneering products that helped establish the PC as a serious graphics platform. In the mid 1990s, Bennett joined Microsoft and worked on multimedia authoring tools in the Internet Platform and Tools group. Following that, Bennett joined Alias Systems and was part of the team that worked on the Academy-Award winning Maya software. In his latest position, Bennett was a co-General Manager at Alias and had business responsibility for several product lines including StudioTools, MotionBuilder and Maya.
