The London Game Career Fair has announced a programme of speakers from some of the industry’s leading studios including EA, Crytek, Blitz, LucasArts and SCEE.

The London Game Career Fair, organised by GamesIndustry.biz and Gamasutra.com, has announced a programme of speakers from some of the industry's leading studios including EA, Crytek, Blitz, LucasArts and SCEE.

Chris Williams of LucasArts, Dave Raynard of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and Sion Lenton of Blitz will be on hand to offer students and graduates invaluable advise on how to break into the games industry.

"Working in the videogames industry is a lifetime dream for many young people, while for the industry, attracting new creative talent is vital to our future," commented Ellie Gibson of GamesIndustry.biz

"The LGCF will bring those people together with the companies who need them, and we hope that the sessions programme will make the path to a career in videogames clearer for our attendees."

The London Game Career Fair takes place on October 3rd and 4th at the Cafî Royal on Regent Street, and offers the chance for students, graduates and creative talent to meet and learn from veterans of the games industry.

"Recruitment is a big issue for us and other development studios and the LGCF is a fantastic opportunity for us to meet and talk to potential new recruits," said Philip Oliver, CEO and co-founder of Blitz Games.

"There's a wide range of careers now available and the industry is maturing in ways that will place it at the heart of the entertainment business of the future," he added.

Studios including Lucas Arts, Real Time Worlds, Evolutions Studios and Blitz Games will be in attendance to talk to potential recruits about careers in every aspect of the games industry.

Attendees can register for the event online at GameCareerFair.com and view a full schedule of sessions here.
