Speakers called for.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SEATTLE, Washington, November 24, 2008 - Online game industry professionals are now invited to submit speaking proposals for a lecture, mini lecture or roundtable for the 2009 LOGIN Game Conference. LOGIN 2009, crafted by Evergreen Events and its industry-leading advisory board, is designed to facilitate education, networking, and entertainment for both business and development professionals within the online game industry. LOGIN 2009 will be held May 11th-14th 2009 in Seattle, Washington at the fantastic Seattle Marriott Waterfront Hotel.

Prospective speakers can select topics from Business Development, Globalization, Programming/Technical, Design and Community tracks. Suggested topics from the advisory board include:

• Challenges of browser-based clients

• AI techniques for MMOs

• Online game design for pocket platforms

• The extinction of community relations

• The importance of the first 24 hours of a game launch

Speaking candidates are encouraged to select ideas based on the track topic suggestions, avoid marketing slants in their proposals, focus on their professional strengths, develop a strong and clearly written abstract, and to submit a proposal well before the deadline. As in previous years, all speaking proposals will be peer reviewed based on these guidelines. The call for speakers will be open until January 21, 2009.For complete information about topics and tips when submitting a proposal, please visit: http://www.2009.loginconference.com/submissions.html.

Benefits for speakers include a free pass to the conferences and its numerous amenities, and access to the speaker and VIP lounges. Beyond the amenities, speakers benefit from long-lasting value and attention among their peers and the game community. "The level of exposure we received as speakers was fantastic," proclaimed Hermann Peterscheck, Producer at NetDevil. "The people in attendance are either serious about online game development or already significant players in the industry. We received many positive introductions and re-introductions as a direct result of speaking at the show."

"One of the most interesting and exciting jobs for the conference advisory board is reviewing the session proposals for LOGIN," stated Peter Freese, LOGIN 2009 Conference Director. "Each year, we receive more proposals than the last, and these proposals tend to be higher quality than the previous year's. That makes the competition for speaking much stiffer, but results in a continuous increase in the caliber of session content."

The LOGIN Conference is an annual game industry event created for the leading voices and minds of the online game industry from all corners of the globe.
