Banbury-based developer moves into swankier premises.

Lightning Fish Games the video games developer that specialise in family-oriented titles based on motion tracking technology are pleased to announce their recent move to larger and more modern offices in Beaumont House, Beaumont Road in Banbury. The move will allow Lightning Fish to grow not only its number of staff and number of teams, but also expand the range of titles that it is developing.

The new studio premises are on the 4th floor with inspirational views of the surrounding countryside. The facilities have been designed with the creative needs of the teams which are working on cutting-edge motion tracking technology for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii. Lightning Fish have elected to remain in the Banbury area within rural Oxfordshire as to date it has proven to be a successful location in attracting team members across a wide range of ages and skill sets.

About Lightning Fish

Lightning Fish are a video games developer specialising in family-oriented titles based on motion tracking technology for Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Microsoft Windows and smart phones.

Lightning Fish was founded by industry veterans Simon Prytherch, Mike Montgomery and David Hunt in June 2008 and they are based in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom. The senior management team are all leaders in their fields and have previously released over a 130 games selling tens of million of units.
