Let the Duelling begin!

Following the successful launch of its Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE DUEL EVOLUTION title for PC, Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has announced details of the all-new DUELPASS for the game, which go on sale from February 15th.

The new DUELPASS E-Hero Evolution Deck will be available from retailers, and enable players to compete with rival Yu-Gi-Oh! fans online, and to bolster their decks with new traps, monsters and spells.

One DUELPASS entitles the user to 30 Duelpoints - in effect 30 online games. The DUELPASS has a unique code which is entered within the game, and submitting an E-Hero Evolution Deck password for the first time will reward the players with a whole deck of 46 cards featuring characters and spells from the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! E-Hero Evolution Deck. Subsequent use of a DUELPASS will provide players with new individual bonus cards. It is also possible to buy the DUELPASS via credit card.

Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE DUEL EVOLUTION went live in January, and replaces the previous Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE service. The new game has been designed to offer a more personal and comprehensive recreation of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, and benefits from an all-new graphical makeover, utilising elements of both the classic Yu-Gi-Oh! TV series and the new Yu-Gi-Oh! GX TV series.

Key additions include the ability for players to use their own Avatar for use when dueling and interacting with other users in an all-new graphical environment, while the new Duel Screen has been redesigned to offer a much more intense dueling experience, and with the new Deck Editor it is easier than ever to construct powerful decks. More than 650 new cards have been added, making the most comprehensive library of cards in a Yu-Gi-Oh! game ever. A free download of the game can be found at www.yugioh-online.net.
