Lego Batman fails to knock FIFA from UK top spot

Sales down 47 per cent for Electronic Arts' football franchise

Lego Batman: The Videogame from Warner Bros. has been unable to knock EA's FIFA 09 from the top of the charts despite a 47 per cent drop in sales for the football franchise.

Warner's latest Lego spin-off was released on seven formats, with 22 per cent of sales on the Xbox 360, 22 per cent on the PS2, 20 per cent of sales on Wii, 17 per cent on PS3, 12 per cent on DS and the remaining 1 per cent on PC.

According to data from GfK Chart Track, Nintendo's Wii Fit climbs back up the charts to number three with a 47 per cent increase in sales, pushing down Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway.
