Law firm appoints Chapman to lead videogames team

Legal expert to join Sheridans, the media specialists, as a partner to head the videogames team

The legal firm Sheridans has announced the appointment of Alex Chapman as a partner to head its videogame team.

Chapman, fromerly of Campbell Hooper solicitors, will be joining the creative industries-focused law firm after having worked with developers such as Creative Assembly, Sports Interactive, Sumo Digital, Mercury Steam, Blitz Games, Exient and Introversion.

"I am looking forward to working with the team at Sheridans," commented Chapman. "At a time when the computer games industry has become a major force in media and entertainment, the opportunities at Sheridans are obvious and I am excited about what we can achieve together."
