Laser Dance Robberies

iPhone heist game from Konami, available now.

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has announced a new IP entitled Laser Dance Robberies, which is available now for iPhone and iPod touch.

Laser Dance Robberies is a stunning take on the heist movie, wherein players are cast as Oscar Shadow – a modern-day Raffles and eager to establish himself as the greatest thief of all time. The touch-controlled game sees the player steering Oscar through a series of daring robberies within the world-renowned Parisian Museum, with players using the touch-screen interface of the Apple units to bypass the museum’s security systems, and to snatch as many exhibits as possible.

The player moves Oscar around each location, and must navigate a path through the laser alarms that cover the museum, and jump from place to place to avoid detection. Quick reflexes are essential if Oscar is to avoid detection and collect the many valuable items within the building – but as the game progresses, so the network of lasers grows ever more extensive, and tripping one instantly ends the game and Oscar’s life of crime.

Laser Dance Robberies has been created by KONAMI’s Parisian development team, and offers a totally original game concept and all-new control system. The game’s clever mix of pixel-perfect control and increasingly tough levels creates an incredibly addictive task, and the best scores can also be uploaded to Game Center’s leaderboard and achievement tables.

Laser Dance Robberies is available now for €0,79/59p from the App Store on iPhone and iPod touch or at http://www.itunes.com/appstore/. For more information, please contact Steve Merrett at Voltage PR on 020 7502 4462, or email steve@voltagepr.com.
