Konami at Tokyo Game Show

Konami of Europe confirms full range of titles to be shown at key Tokyo event, including Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Rumble Roses and Enthusia - Professional Racing

Konami of Europe has confirmed the full line-up of products to be shown at this year's Tokyo Game Show event, which is to take place at Tokyo's Makuhari Messe venue from September 24th-26th.

The event is seen as one of the most important in the Japanese gaming calendar, and Konami has secured the largest booth at the show, as it shows off its impressive array of forthcoming titles. Key titles on show will include the latest builds of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, an updated version of Winning Eleven 8 featuring elements from the forthcoming European release of Pro Evolution Soccer 4, and Rumble Roses - the stunning all-female wrestling title. Konami will also be disclosing the first details of a new game entitled Oz (provisional title). Developed by the team behind the acclaimed Suikoden role-playing series, Konami TYO will be using the Tokyo Game Show to debut the innovative new launch.

In addition to offering visitors their first chance to play many new titles, the producers of key releases will also be on hand to discuss their projects. There will be hourly stage shows featuring presentations regarding Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Rumble Roses and Enthusia - Professional Racing, wherein the intricacies of each title will be explained, as will information on how each title is progressing.

Konami will also be showing its commitment to the new PSP handheld system from Sony, with four titles on display, lead by Metal Gear Acid - a strategy title featuring covert agent Solid Snake - while other key titles forming part of Konami's exciting line-up will be represented with playable versions of its Neo Contra and Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim (provisional title) PlayStation 2 titles and Hideo Kojima's light sensitive Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django for Game Boy Advance completing a stunning Konami collection.
