Konami Announces Blockbuster Lineup At Electronic Entertainment Expo 2007

Diverse Lineup of Games for Next-Gen and Handheld Systems Features Sequels for Hit Franchises, Original Concepts and Exciting New Products

SANTA MONICA, Calif. - Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) - July 10, 2007 - Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc., today revealed its blockbuster product lineup for the 2007 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Santa Monica, Calif. With nine high-profile titles for multiple video game platforms being showcased at this year's event, Konami reinforces its position as an industry leader and trend setter. Featuring games across all genres targeted towards players of all age groups and skill levels, Konami continues to expand upon its leadership position in the music games category while bringing its celebrated franchises and original titles to next generation and handheld systems.

Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles

Release date: Fall 2007

Genre: Action

Platform: PSP®(PlayStation®Portable) system

Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles takes an entirely new look at the classic action game Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and brings the franchise to the PSP system for the first time - complete with 3D graphics, enhanced gameplay and new music. This is the first time Rondo of Blood has been released outside of Japan. The game also includes unlockable versions of the original Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night games, optimized for the PSP system with old-school side scrolling action.

Contra 4 (working title)

Release date: 2007

Genre: Action

Platform: Nintendo DS

Set after the events of Contra III: Alien Wars, the game follows mercenaries Bill Rizer and Lance Bean as they battle to save the world from a new extraterrestrial threat. Contra 4 takes advantage of the dual screens of the Nintendo DS to deliver larger-than-life action, with massive enemies, detailed platforming and mind-blowing set pieces. Across a variety of game modes, including full cooperative play through the main story mode, two players can take the fight to the alien army of the Black Viper and reclaim Earth for mankind.

Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party

Release date: Fall 2007

The global dancing phenomenon gets even more physical with an entirely new game designed for the Wii. Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA2

Hellboy The Science of Evil (working title)
