Kitmaker announces English training game

To be available in five languages

Spanish mobile content developer Kitmaker has announced the launch of a new game designed to improve players' English language skills.

Mobile English Trainer will be available in five different versions: Spanish, German, French, Portuguese and Russian. Learning exercises are presented as games - in Balloons, for example, players must pop balloons to put together a phrase.

There are two levels - Study and Exam - and full statistics are provided so players can evaluate their progress.

Kitmaker's scriptwriters have been working closely with more than 15 language professionals, including certified English teachers, to produce the game. Versions in Czech, Bulgarian and Chinese are also planned.

It's not the first time the company has launched a game of this type - Kitmaker's Mobile Trainers range includes Mobile Brain Trainer, which racked up more than 150,000 downloads in Spain during the first two months after release.

"This is yet another bet on the versatility of the new cell phones," said Kitmaker CEO Joaquin Edo. "We want to reach the people that want added values, not only pure entertainment."
