Kiko: The Last Totem

(October 25, 2010) – Fabulapps, makers of the instantly popular CrossRoads HD time management game for the iPad, announce the release of a simple, casual, yet never-ending puzzle game, Kiko: The Last Totem, for the iPhone and iPad.  The new game from Fabulapps will be available through Apple’s App Store on October 28, but unlike most other games in the App Store, Kiko: The Last Totem will unleash the full potential of social gaming in a unique and addicting app.

"By adding the ability for a player to create new levels, in addition to solving our 150 existing levels,” explains Thomas Pagot, co-founder of Fabulapps, “we have given players infinite possibilities for expanding the game, and we took it a step further by letting players send their custom levels directly to their friends and challenge them.” 

Kiko: The Last Totem is a puzzle game that requires a player to solve levels through three different and beautiful worlds in order to find 15 lost pieces of the “last totem.” Built around the very likable Kiko, who was in charge of guarding the last totem of the gods before it was stolen by Yaru, the Lord of the forbidden mountain, the game is easy to learn, filled with cool sound effects and optimized for the new iPhone 4 Retina Display. 

On the notion that fun is meant to be shared, the developers of Kiko: The Last Totem made it possible for players to assign up to four different profiles on their iPhone or iPad, which means multiple friends can play on one device without losing anyone’s progression in the game.  

“This game is very addicting,” says Pagot, “and we’re already at work designing a Mac version that will be released soon.”

Kiko: The Last Totem is also Game Center compliant. Apple’s new Game Center lets members share game achievements with friends, join in on multiplayer games, and it features leaderboards for compatible games like Kiko: The Last Totem.
