Alten8 is pleased to confirm the appointment of Kay Parbat , as Managing Director Of Alten8 Limited. Kay will be managing the production , marketing and business expansion of Alten8. Moving from his position as Sales and Marketing Director of 'Soulblade Distribution Ltd', one of the UK's most prolific martial arts DVD publishers , Kay has worked for such companies as - Medusa Pictures , Docdata UK.
"Kay is a great asset to Alten8 as we move forward with our growth and progression" said Paul Andrews , CEO of Alten8. He brings with him a wealth of experience in the retail industry , as well as very specific knowledge and contacts within the video and distribution industries. He continued "We are planning to expand our sales and marketing personal also in the immediate future , to help us fulfil our expansion of not only PC and console games , but also DVD releases , specialist packaging and other sales concepts in 2007 and beyond." "We are already in negotiations with several high street retailers on joint projects , and also taking on third party sales for other licence holders and publishers , which is something we intend to expand upon also."
One of Kay's first projects is to launch and manage Alten8's DVD label in July 2007.
