JOYTECH announces new European distribution deal

Third party peripheral designer and manufacturer JOYTECH has announced a new agreement with New Media Entertainment AG, for the distribution of its products throughout Switzerland and Austria.

Third party peripheral designer and manufacturer Joytech has announced a new agreement with New Media Entertainment AG, for the distribution of its products throughout Switzerland and Austria.

Joytech, a wholly owned subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive Software, has almost ten years experience in the design, manufacture and distribution of videogame accessories, peripherals and console customisation tools. The company continues to design new products for the leading games consoles, including Sony's recently released PSP and Nintendo's DS handheld systems.

Peter Hoffmann, Product Manager for New Media Entertainment AG commented, "We strongly believe that we are the perfect partners in introducing the Joytech range to gamers across Switzerland and Austria and with multiple new formats on the horizon, we are confident that we can achieve significant market presence and replicate the strong success that Joytech have already achieved across much of Europe."

Joytech currently has satellite offices operating in France, Germany, Italy, Benelux, Australia, Hong Kong, and the United States.
