Jolt's Planetarion Rings in Autumn with New Round

Round 12 of pioneering browser-based galactic strategy game set for lift-off next Wednesday

The days may be getting shorter but now there's a good excuse to spend the darker evenings in front of the PC with the return of mass browser combat from Wednesday 13th October. Battle commences with the start of a new ten-week campaign in Planetarion, the innovative browser-based strategy game set in a futuristic universe. Under the guidance of original game creator Christian "Spinner" Lassem this latest Round (number 12), entitled "The Edge of Darkness", will build on the success of the previous round that saw thousands of Planetarion gamers pitted against each other throughout the summer months.

Round 11 saw further evolution in the Planetarion experience and Round 12 continues this trend fully. Enhancements for the new round include further refinements to the galaxy set up which will encourage even greater player interactions; a great emphasis on working together within your own galaxy for success; completely new ship statistics for all 48 ships in the universe; 4 new and distinct races; and finally a new and improved interface. Round 12 also sees the difference between free & paid accounts balanced a little more to make free accounts even more competitive, giving newcomers a chance to try out the unique experience that is Planetarion.

This latest round of Planetarion is free for all to play in the initial stages; however credits are required to unlock the full potential and resources of a planet. Credits can be obtained at a cost of £5 for 1 or £10 for 3, and a variety of payment methods are available for those who wish to purchase them. Ahead of the start date players can already sign up and create their planets at www.planetarion.com .
