Johnny Depp to Lend Voice to Bethesda's Pirates of the Caribbean: Legend of Jack Sparrow Video Game

Star of Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean" films to Play Captain Jack Sparrow in a New Adventure for PlayStation®2 and PC

June 23, 2006 (Rockville, MD) - Bethesda Softworks® today announced that award-winning actor Johnny Depp will lend his voice as Captain Jack Sparrow in the upcoming video game, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow. Slated for a June 27 release for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system and the PC, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow features a blend of fast-paced action and adventure.

Depp received a Best Actor Academy Award® nomination for his work in "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" in 2004.
