MONTRÉAL, CANADA, (September 21, 2005) - Quazal, makers of the Net-Z and Rendez-Vous online multiplayer middleware technologies, today announced that they appointed Jean Lachance as vice-president of sales.
"Quazal has set the stage for success and I'm confident in the new senior management team's ability to build upon the strong foundation we have established over the course of our existence." said Sylvain Beaudry, President and CEO of Quazal. "Mr. Lachance brings a strong track record in expanding businesses in different technology driven sectors all over the world and is a great addition to our management team. His consultative selling skills combined with his talent in setting up growth sales teams around the world will foster Quazal's business expansion vision. In 2004, Kaydara was acquired by Alias, the leading provider of 3D graphics technology and services for the film, video games, automotive and visualization markets.
Mr. Lachance brings a long history of business development successes from setting up research facilities, new market segment developments and sales management with both small and large organizations such as the Canadian federal government, Intergraph Corporation, Intergraph Computer Systems, Kaydara and Alias.
