HTML5 now supported by mobile games platform.

The new standard will bring a complete new level of game experience to itsmy’s in-house developed games and the games of all partner studios. From now on MP3 sounds, full animations, loactaion, interactive touchscreen gameplay and integrated videos will be available. All possible HTML5 features will be continuously integrated in 2011.

A Sneak Preview is open for beta testing and limited to 20,000 mobile gamers. It is a location based and social HTML5 game and can be found here: http://m.itsmy.com/quiz

Antonio Vince Staybl, CEO says “Almost all of our mobile browser game developers and studios are pushing in the HTML5 direction and therefore it was a must to go HTML5. The mobile HTML5 strategy will make it easier to generate revenues in future and to grow the user base virally.”

itsmy will release the new version of its platform including four new HTML5 games at the GDC March 2-4, 2011 in San Francisco. Check in at booth number: 1644.
