Italian developer conference makes a return

Second edition of event organised by AIOMI to take place in Milan in October

The Italian Association for Interactive Multimedia (AIOMI) has announced that it is to hold a second developer event this year for the videogames industry in the country.

The Italian Videogame Developers Conference will be held at the IULM University in Milan on October 8-9.

"An event like the IVDC cannot be improvised and this second edition will consolidate the congress as the one and real moment of confrontation and meeting for the Italian videogame industry," said Marco Accordi Rickards, president of AIOMI and chairman of IVDC.

And Raoul Carbone, general secretary of AIOMI, added: "Now that the IVDC is also the official Conference of the Italian Videogame Developers in Confindustria, not only it will be a cultural event, but it will become also a vital meeting for an entire Italian economic sector."

More details on attendees and session information will become available in the next few months, a statement promised.

Members of the GamesIndustry.biz Network can add this event to their attendance list and start arranging meetings now.
