Industry Leader Appointed as cdv Software Entertainment AG CEO

Industry veteran Christian Gloe assumes pivotal leadership role

Cary, North Carolina, 11 October, 2007 - cdv Software Entertainment USA today announced that interactive entertainment industry veteran Christian Gloe has assumed the duties of CEO for its parent company, CDV Software Entertainment AG, completing extensive and successful turnaround efforts in Europe. Mr. Gloe, an experienced leader and high-profile personality in the international games industry, will continue the company's efforts to become a global full service provider.

Since the early nineties, Mr. Gloe is considered a top executive in the gaming industry, having held senior management positions with L'Oreal, Virgin Interactive, Crave Entertainment, Infogrames and Atari.

Over the last eight years, Gloe was notably responsible for the restructuring and expansion of the European and Asian distribution business for Infogrames / Atari. Since 2004, as President of Publishing, he led the global publishing business for the Infogrames/Atari Group from New York.

Along with the arrival of Mr. Gloe, Arne Peters has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Peters comes to cdv from Intel, where he served in a senior leadership role as Segment Manager for Consumer Software and Solutions.

New top executives to expand upon the work of successful interim management

After a series of restructuring measures and a corporate re-launch and re-branding, the appointment of Mr. Gloe and Mr. Peters represents the end of the interim management period overseen by restructuring expert Philipp Stiehl. Mr. Stiehl will remain on board in the role of the company's Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Gloe is convinced of cdv's leadership potential within the industry, stating, "The idea of offering services to the games sector on a modular basis is new - and absolutely compelling. I'm looking forward to the challenge of building cdv and its innovative business model into an international market leader." Added Tom Gross, CEO of CDV Software Entertainment USA and fellow Atari executive alumni, "We're extremely excited about Christian and Arne joining our parent company, and we look forward to the strength our combined management presents to the industry, not only in North America, but across the globe."
