Mobile studio UDO Games receives $420,000 in investment round

Funding to be used to begin self-publishing as well as create new opportunities in the games industry

Mobile studio UDO Games has announced that it received $420,000 in a recent investment round.

The company said that the investment will be used to start a new project, which will aim to bring more people into the games industry.

Additionally, UDO Games will being self-publishing titles.

The investment round was led by WePlay Ventures and Lima Ventures with a valuation of $4.2 million dollars.

UDO Games was founded 2013 by Mustafa Türker Karahan, Gökhan Güngör and Andaç Altak, and has created titles such as GetJellied, Smashers.io, and Goons.io.

"With this investment, we started a project called Next Gen Devs to bring new faces to the game industry in the country," the company said.

"Within the scope of this project, we will take serious steps to raise qualified human resources with all this project content by organizing game development activities in the future."
