In2Games announces major success with Real World Golf, major fundraising and new products

Hot on the heels of its recent success, Gametrak: Real World Golf in the UK, In2Games announces the completion of a major fundraising, global expansion plans and first details of new Gametrak titles.

Real Word Golf uses the Gametrak system to track your swing, in real-time, into the game - which has made it the only golf title in recent years to challenge EA's Tiger Woods in terms of sales and critical acclaim.

"The moment golfers have been eagerly anticipating...makes previous hit games like Tiger Woods look about as realistic as Space Invaders"

Mail on Sunday

In2Games has stepped up production of the Gametrak hardware to ensure sufficient stock availability for Christmas and beyond.

"We've been delighted with the success of Real World Golf to date, and would like to thank our retail partners, developers Aqua Pacific and our distribution partners Mad Catz" commented Elliott Myers, MD of In2Games "We look forward to an exciting Christmas - we expect Real World Golf to be a major hit with consumers and retail this holiday season."

2006 will see Gametrak hit the US, with Real World Golf on PS2, Xbox and PC slated for a Q1 release.

Alongside Real World Golf's success comes the completion of a major funding round, and the first details of forthcoming Gametrak games - bowling, basketball, first-person shooter and party game compendiums from In2Games, plus baseball from Mad Catz are all planned for 2006 release.

"Real World Golf has shown that direct motion capture gaming has captured the imagination of gamers and non-gamers alike," added Chairman Mark Strachan. "By bringing Gametrak's unique, immersive gameplay to a whole host of genres and platforms in 2006 and beyond, In2Games will change the way we play - forever."
