Ubisoft has announced that the highly-anticipated Assassin's Creed will be released in November. Developed by the publisher's Montreal studio, the game will be released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

NetDevil and The Lego Group have announced their first MMO based on the popular toy will be called Lego Universe. The game promises a safe and fun virtual world, and is pencilled in for release in Q4 2008.

Gamecock will release FireFly Studio's Dungeon Hero on PC and Xbox 360. The developer has previously worked on acclaimed strategy titles Stronghold and CivCity Rome.

The Adventure Company and JoWood will release TellTale Games' Sam and Max: Season 1 to US retail in August. The package will include a disc of bonus material on the previously download-only title.

Midway will publish popular puzzle game Myst on the DS. Rewritten for the handheld and featuring new content, the game is due November.

Nintendo's highly-anticipated DS game Elite Beat Agents has been given a European release date. The game features music from Freddy Mercury, Sum 41 and Avril Lavine and is due on July 13.

Codemasters has announced the first free update for the best-selling MMO The Lord of the Rings Online: The Shadows of Angmar. The package features over 100 new quests and will be available in Europe and the US June 14.

Atari is to bring cult flash game N+ to the PSP and DS. Only available in North America, the game is due November this year.

This week's new releases includes two of Microsoft's biggest names. Halo 2 for Vista finally gets a release for the new operating platform and racer Forza Motorsport 2 arrives on the Xbox 360.

Nintendo Wii owners have a choice of acclaimed puzzle game Mercury Meltdown Revolution and Pangya! Golf with Style, while this week's DS releases include Trioncube, Brothers in Arms and Marvel Trading Card Game.

Hospital Tycoon and The History Channel Presents Great Battles of Rome are due for PC, with Tony Hawk's Project 8 for PSP and Wartech Senko no Ronde for Xbox 360 also released today.
