Imagine unveils Next3 website

Bournemouth-based publisher expands web presence with new launch

Today, Imagine Publishing announced the launch of a new website www.next3.co.uk. The website is designed to support Imagine's Next3 magazine, the UK's only magazine entirely dedicated to PlayStation 3, by offering readers free downloadable content.

The website features high-res screenshots, game trailers and high-definition in-game Playstation 3 game footage captured by the team, enabling readers to see what the games look like when they're actually being played. Other video features accessible include developer interviews and 'making ofs'.

There is also a photos section and a monthly blog, which offers the readers a unique insight into both the games industry and the making of a monthly magazine. Readers are also able to download free bonus content for both their Playstation 3s and their PCs in the form of PS3 game saves and wallpapers.

In addition, www.next3.co.uk incorporates a fully functioning forum enabling readers to discuss the latest gaming events and talk directly to the Next3 editorial team.

"This website is an example of how Imagine Publishing is committed to bringing its readers the best possible gaming coverage," said Nick Jones, Editor in Chief.

"There's no question that the internet has had an impact on magazines in recent years," said Jones, "yet websites also have their disadvantages over print media. Now we can offer our readers the best of both worlds: high-quality editorial and magazine flickability with the immediacy of information and new media and reader community that the internet offers, all under one brand banner.

Next3 is published by Imagine Publishing, the UK's fastest growing consumer specialist publisher, with a portfolio of 20 magazines and 15 websites across three key markets: videogames, photography and computing.
