Imagine Publishing to close Nintendo magazine

Imagine Publishing is to close its dedicated Nintendo magazine, NRevolution.

According to a report by a former writer on the magazine, contributing factors to the demise of the title included the loss of the original editorial team, a struggle to get content from Nintendo and the decline of print sales in general.

The final issue of NRevolution will go on sale December 11.

Imagine is to launch a new consumer site, NowGamer, at the end of the year, and still publishes magazines including GamesTM, Retro Gamer and Play.
