IGA signs ad deal with Artix

In-game advertising network IGA has announced an exclusive agreement with casual gaming company Artix to supply its titles Adventure Quest, Dragon Fable and Battalion Minigames with advertising.

In-game advertising network IGA has announced an exclusive agreement with casual gaming company Artix to supply its titles Adventure Quest, Dragon Fable and Battalion Minigames with advertising.

Artix specialises in simple, browser-based online gaming, which is free to play for 98 per cent of its audience.

That audience is considerable: the three games have 8.4 million unique visitors per month and over half a million per day, and Artix has registered 32 million accounts.

IGA plans to focus on 15-second video ads on the three game sites.

"The deal with Artix Entertainment allows us to offer further video options to our advertisers, leveraging the creative spots created for television as that medium continues to lose viewers," noted IGA's CEO Justin Townsend.
