iFone announces new European and American sales VPs

Manchester-based mobile game publisher iFone has announced the latest senior additions to its management team, with Catalina Lou being appointed as VP of sales for Europe, while Chett Shearer takes on the same role in the Americas.

The changes will strengthen iFone's global account teams in both major territories, and both of the new VPs are experts in the wireless sector in their own right - having worked for a wide range of companies across the sector prior to moving to iFone.

Catalina Lou, who takes over the firm's European Account Management team, was previously director of sales for Europe for Iquity AB, and a senior account manager for Alice Systems in Sweden; while Chett Shearer has over 20 years of experience in the US telecoms industry, most recently working as director of business development for Citrix.

"The changes to our account team underline iFone's commitment to creating strong relationships with our operator partners in each territory across the globe," according to iFone CEO Morgan OâRahilly. "We will continue to invest in our global account management teams to ensure that we maintain our excellent reputation for service delivery."
