Iceberg Interactive - Tomb of Zojir

Haarlem, The Netherlands – 11 November 2010 – Today PC videogames publisher Iceberg Interactive and development studio WRF Studios are pleased to announce their European publishing agreement for the point-and-click adventure game Tomb of Zojir (PC), the third instalment in the strange and mysterious Last Half of Darkness series.

Tomb of Zojir takes players to the mysterious Isle of the Dead, where legends speak of a great treasure hidden deep within the ancient temple that is the tomb of Emperor Zojir. Before the emperor died, he had his mage place protective ‘bloodstones’ around his treasure, but after an unsuccessful attempt at theft, the stones now lie scattered across the island. Ever since, a curse has been terrorizing the locals as they wait for someone to uncover the true origin of the last half of darkness.

“We are delighted to work with WRF Studios to bring the Last Half of Darkness: Tomb of Zojir to European retail”, says Raymond Snippe, Senior Development Manager at Iceberg Interactive. “Tomb of Zojir is truly an atmospheric and dark journey that will thrill fans of point-and-click adventures and will make them jump from their seats. In other words, a perfect addition to the Iceberg games portfolio.”

Last Half of Darkness: Tomb of Zojir will hit retail stores across ‘English speaking’ Europe very soon, on 10 December 2010. Localized versions have not been announced. The box includes secret tools and clues that will prove crucial in solving some of the game’s puzzles. Playing previous instalments is not required for a full game experience in Tomb of Zojir.

About Last Half of Darkness: Tomb of Zoijr

The darkness has descended upon Louisiana, where the treasures from the gypsy's lair are still hidden, when a mysterious book is found in the tiny town of Shadowcrest. Perhaps a book that should never have been opened. A book with pages that chart the passage to the Isle of the Dead...

Shrouded among fog and lore, legends of the Island speak of the strange ghosts that live there and the creatures of the dead hiding in the shadows; feeding on sailors foolish enough to beach upon the dark shores. Although stories of great treasure surround the island, it is also rumored that the isle holds the origin for a great darkness inside an ancient temple built centuries ago.

Use your experience in the dark arts and science to uncover the true origin of the last half of darkness.
