Following on from London Games Week, GamesIndustry.biz has teamed up with consumer site Eurogamer.net to present a set of unofficial show awards for the best games and exhibitors at the events of the week.

Rather more irreverent than the official show awards, the GI / EG awards have been christened the Muffies - as we'll be sending out a tray of delicious muffins to all the winners (that's an item of sweet pastry that goes well with coffee, in case our international visitors are wondering).

Chosen by the editorial teams of the two sites, the awards cover not only the ECTS show floor but also the games on show in the Nintendo lorry outside Earls Court and in the PlayStation Experience.

You can check out the full awards listing on the site today - highlighting not only the best games of the show, but also the games which are most likely to make a significant stir when they arrive at retail over the coming months. Consider this a shortlist of titles to watch for Christmas and beyond!
