i-Jet Media/iWiW deal

City Gangs and Farm Frenzy arrive on Hungarian social network.

i-Jet Media published games by Russian developers on the largest Hungarian social network, iWiW. City Gangs and Farm Frenzy are the first applications launched by this world leading social games publisher and distributor in Hungary.

iWiW is the most popular social network in Hungary, with 4.7 million registered users, whereas Facebook has only 2.2 million in this country.

City Gangs is a mafia genre game. Players begin their criminal careers, set up virtual gangs of their friends, and complete various missions. Farm Frenzy is the most popular casual game in Russia and East. Now, developed by one of Alawar Entertainment's studios, it is being launched in a new format, for social networks. City Gangs has been already published on 16 social platforms, and Farm Frenzy launched on 9.

"i-Jet Media continues expanding to local markets of social games. We discover new opportunities for our partner developers to launch their games on social networks across the world. It allows them to involve new audience in their projects without additional expenditure, and increase their own profits," said Alexey Kostarev, General Producer at i-Jet Media.

From Alexey Kostarev's point of view, diversity of platforms is a key to social game developers' success: "It is already happening that leading positions are being taken by those studios which do not depend on one or two single social networks. They have already managed to gain significant shares on a few local markets. Already in the following year, the overwhelming majority of developers will not be able to earn enough money with their projects launched only on one or two social networks."

Thus Hungary was entered in a list of countries i-Jet Media established practical cooperation with social networks from. It will be recalled that i-Jet Media has been publishing games by independent developers on 30 local and global social networks and web communities across the world. Total audience of applications launched by the company is more than 60 million users.
