Hudson's 2009 mobile line-up

Ten new iPhone games on the way, including Crayon Physics Deluxe, plus Android and other mobile offerings too.

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., January 09, 2009 – Hudson Entertainment, the North American publishing arm for Hudson Soft, has announced its mobile entertainment lineup for 2009. Continuing its strong showing of mobile entertainment in 2008, Hudson’s 2009 lineup will include multiple new titles for the Apple iPhone, iTouch and iPod, as well as Android and many other mobile handsets.

Hudson will bring more than 10 titles to the iPhone, iTouch and iPod in 2009 including Crayon Physics Deluxe™, winner of the Seumas McNally Grand prize at the recent 2008 Independent Games Festival. Slated for an early 2009 release on the iPhone and iPod touch, Crayon Physics Deluxe will have players transforming their drawings to guide a ball through each of the crayon-drawn levels featured in the game. Using anything from pivot points to ropes, players can either tackle the single player mode or jump into the easy-to-use level editor to create their own masterpieces.

In late 2008, Hudson published three titles at the launch of the T-Mobile G1 mobile phone Android. Hudson will continue its support of the innovative new platform with multiple ground-breaking titles in 2009 including the first Bomberman game to hit the platform in Bomberman Dojo and turn-based strategy game, Military Madness.

The first Bomberman game available for the device, Bomberman Dojo takes full advantage of the online functionality of the device to allow the creation and sharing of your own Bomberman maps! In Bomberman Dojo for Android you are one of many Bombermen who attempt to climb the Tower of Bobal. Those who make it to the top are awarded a title based on their skills; making this the first Bomberman game to provide ranking with respects to each player’s Bomberman gameplay style. To compliment Bomberman Dojo, Military Madness, the classic TG16 strategy game, also stands to be a must have on the G1 device with intuitive touch screen control, revamped graphics, and an engaging storyline revolving around humankind’s control over the moon.

In addition to its continued support of Apple and Android handsets, Hudson will continue to support and innovate on other mobile handsets. The mobile lineup for 2009 includes Bomberman Land and Military Madness 2 as well as TXT High: Rule the School where players can text their way through high school, from freshman to senior class guiding Chester, the bullies’ favorite target, through a dozen different “txting” based mini-games including avoiding bullies, winning food fights, surviving gym class, and getting a prom date, just to name a few!
