Hot Shots Golf PS3 bundles coming to Japan

Sony has announced that they will release PS3 consoles bundled with a copy of Hot Shots Golf 5 in Japan this summer.

Sony has announced plans to will release PlayStation 3 consoles bundled with a copy of Hot Shots Golf 5 in Japan this summer.

Two different packages will be available - the 20GB model and the 60GB model, priced at 51,980 Yen (USD 420) and 61,980 Yen (USD 500) respectively. The 20GB model has been discontinued in the US and was never offered for sale in the UK, but it is still being supported by Sony in Japan.

The first PS3 iteration of Minna no Golf, as the Hot Shots series is known in Japan, will be released on July 26. No official dates have been announced for other territories.

When asked if the US might see a similar bundle offering, SCEA's Dave Karraker responded: "We have no plans to offer any bundles for PS3 in the North American market at this time."
