Hoist the mainsail and saddle up those Dinos: ANNO 1701 and ParaWorld for the first time playable at the GC

SUNFLOWERS brings a blockbuster line-up to the Games Convention

Heusenstamm, August 10th 2006 - In ANNO 1701 and ParaWorld SUNFLOWERS will be presenting two of the year's most highly-awaited PC titles at the Games Convention 2006. For the first time ever visitors will be able to play both titles at the stand.

A chance to finally play the new ANNO- millions of fans around the world have been waiting for years to do just that. This will be a wish come true for visitors when the Games Convention opens its doors in Leipzig from August 23rd to 27th. ANNO 1701, the third part of the most successful game series to ever come out of the German-speaking countries, will be presented at the Deep Silver Stand in Hall 3 / A 18, where it can be played on six stations. ANNO fans and newcomers alike can let themselves be captivated by the different chances to interact with the new ANNO game world and the breath-taking 3D graphics which make the third part of this incredibly successful series more lifelike than ever. Through questionnaires, forums and closed beta-tests the PC gaming community helped determine much of what ANNO 1701 is today. The GC offers the community a chance to finally see for themselves that their efforts and patience were anything but in vain. Those lucky enough to have purchased a ticket for the GC concert in the Leipziger Gewandhaus on August 23rd at 8 p.m. can get themselves in the ANNO mood musically as, amongst others, the main ANNO theme will be performed there.

ParaWorld, the most expensive real-time strategy title ever to be produced in Germany, can also be played at the Deep Silver Stand. Here the title is also available for play on six stations. Here RTS fans can try out innovative new ParaWorld features such as the "Army Controller" and the "Army Builder" for themselves. Already considered the new strategy hit on the E-Sport scene, ParaWorld is also represented on the NGL and ESL stands. Players can fight exciting "one-on-one" battles using the exotic tribes and powerful battle-dinosaurs on a total of eight stations at the NGL stand ( Hall 5 / F40 ). At the ESL stand ( Hall 3 / A40 - B50 ) strategy fans can speak directly with the game's developers.

SUNFLOWERS will be presenting some hot new information on ANNO and ParaWorld at the press conference on Wednesday, August 23rd from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Deep Silver-Stand in Hall 3 / A 18. The press conference is open to all trade fair accredited journalists, and registration is not required.

Trade fair visitors should also keep a watchful eye out for ANNO 1701 and ParaWorld- there will be loads of attractions and contests to be found!
