hell-tech grabs mystery-adventure Belief & Betrayal

hell-tech, a Greek publishing and distribution company, has announced that it has secured the distribution rights to PC-based, adventure "Belief & Betrayal" from dtp/Artematica. The game will be released by the ambitious publisher in September 2007 in Greece and South Africa.

Jonathan Danter is a journalist living and working in New York City. At his uncle's funeral he stumbles upon a number of puzzling inconsistencies - there are things afoot that seem to point to something much larger going on.
In London, he begins to research the death of his uncle and finds more and more mysterious incidents that all point towards the same source: the Christian Church.

Gloomy libraries full of forbidden scripture and mysterious monasteries in deep and dark woods are just some of the locations featured in Belief & Betrayal church conspiracy thriller plot. The level of detail and faithful reproduction of famous buildings and places in the classic point & click environments are amazing. The game shows for example the inside of the Cathedral of Chartres and a view of the Piazza San Marco and the surrounding buildings in nighttime Venice.
The famous gothic Cathedral of Our Lady of Chartres in central France was completed in the 13th century and counts among the greatest churches of its time. The grand pavement labyrinth in the central aisle is surrounded by many rumors and outlandish theories concerning its significance and geometric layout.
The Piazza San Marco is Venice's most well known and important square. While it dates back to the 9th century, it obtained its current form between 1200 and 1600. Dominated by the Basilica and its solitary bell tower, it stretches all the way to the famous Doge's Palace. Being at the lowest point in Venice, the Piazza is frequently flooded during storm surges, with water from the Grand Canal surging up into the square.
