Hearts of Iron and Majesty

Two classic PC strategy games being developed for mobiles.

NEW YORK—December 4th 2008— Paradox Interactive has today announced that the company is developing mobile versions of the well known franchises Hearts of Iron and Majesty. The games will be fully playable across all mobile platforms, including the iPhone. This marks the first time Paradox Interactive has developed games for the mobile platform.

“We decided to enter the mobile space after considering feedback from our fanbase,” said Fredrik Wester, executive vice president of Paradox Interactive. “With the release of these titles on the mobile platform, our fans will be able to enjoy Hearts of Iron and Majesty on the go. We look forward to developing more of our titles for the mobile platform, so our fans can play Paradox games wherever they are.”

Paradox, widely known for their strategy PC titles, is in the midst of preparing for a successful 2009. They are currently developing several PC titles, including the anticipated PC sequel for Majesty- The Fantasy Kingdom Sim and the third instalment of Hearts of Iron on the PC. The mobile versions of Hearts of Iron and Majesty are scheduled for release in 2009.
