HandyGames's Yari line-up

Snowboard Rush and Hamster Hustle to be pre-installed on Sony Ericsson's handset.

Press Release – free for immediate release

Giebelstadt, 3rd of February 2010

Giebelstadt/Germany, 3rd of February 2010. HandyGames™, the leading German publisher for mobile games, proudly announces the development partnership with Sony Ericsson to pre-install two innovative games on the Sony Ericsson Yari™ handset. Both titles – Snowboard Rush and Hamster Hustle – are controlled solely by using GestureTek® technology. In both applications the player controls the virtual characters with body motions in front of the mobile camera.

"Our creative team is happy to release titles with such innovative game controls on the Sony Ericsson Yari™." says Markus Kassulke, CEO and head of production at HandyGames™. "We have proven that there is a dimension of mobile game play other than using old fashioned navigation keys and touch controls. It is an entirely new experience and a lot of fun to play a mobile game by crouching, jumping or twisting in front of your mobile phone camera."

"HandyGames™ as a technology leader and with its passion for mobile games is the perfect partner for Sony Ericsson to bring unique and innovative applications to our future mobile phones." says Sara Ponnert, Partner Manager Games at Sony Ericsson.

Snowboard Rush and Hamster Hustle are available on the new Yari™ devices from Sony Ericsson or in the PlayNow™ Arena for free.

Snowboard Rush

Get on your virtual snowboard and move like a real snowboarder in front of your Yari mobile cam! Control your snowboard and perform jumps by moving your body!
