HandyGames launches Soccer Puzzle

"Virtual jigsaw" game extends partnership with Ravensburger

Independent mobile games developer HandyGames has announced the launch of Soccer Puzzle, perfectly timed to coincide with the World Cup.

Available through network operators and portals worldwide, the game tasks players with piecing together a virtual puzzle, gradually revealing an assortment of cute football-themed pictures.

Each new game offers a different challenge as the pieces are randomly cut for every game and players can then watch a slideshow of all completed puzzles.

The game also includes an animated solution if the challenge is proving too tricky, as well as various difficulty levels to suit an audience of all ages.

"Fans of puzzle games are prone to get addicted to Soccer Puzzle!", commented HandyGames CEO, Markus Kassulke.

"We are convinced that this unique game concept will fascinate the young and the old. We're already planning to release more titles in partnership with Ravensburger."

The new game is the second mobile release based on classic board games created by Ravensburger, following the success of the recently released Memory game. Both companies are excited about the possibilities of converting additional puzzle, toy and board games to the mobile platform.

"Ravensburger is the European leader in the field of puzzles and has a market share of 75 per cent in Germany," added Susanne Schnabel, Ravensburger's director of central marketing.

"Due to this we were looking for a partner able to meet our high quality standards and HandyGames has done a really great job."

More information on the latest release and forthcoming mobile projects from the German developer can be found by visiting the HandyGames website.
