COLLEGE PARK, MD - October 3, 2006 - Goozex, Inc. today launched a new private messaging service for its members. This is the third in a series of significant website upgrades to define the future of Goozex as a community of active video game traders. The private messaging capability is intended to bring together Goozex members and allow them to communicate with each other on video game topics and company services.
Members can access the new private messaging tool via their trading pages. Each trade that has been either committed or completed will have a link to the other member's preliminary profile page. A Goozex member can find on that webpage another user's feedback history and compose a private message to send. The private messaging service is the first step in building Goozex personal profile pages, which will be an extension to the company's current website and service. The personal profile page will expand to include other services such as avatars, message boards, and other custom build components.
Part of the company's mission is build and support a community of video game players who find value in the trading their used games online.
Valerio Zanini, CEO, commented that "Goozex is rapidly building a community of users that want to interact with each other on multiple levels. All of our service improvements have been member driven. In one sense, Goozex is a reflection of the demand for used video games and community features that is currently not met in the online world."
