Glu offers mobile gamers the real deal

World Series of Poker games announced

Glu Mobile has announced the creation and publishing of two new products from the World Series of Poker, forming the first part of a worldwide, multi-year partnership with Harrah's Licensing Company, an affiliate of Harrah's Entertainment.

World Series of Poker Texas Hold'em and World Series of Poker Player Advisor will be the first in a series of products available from Glu, with the Texas Hold'em game offering multiple modes including single player and tournament competition.

The game will include some of professional poker's best-known players with total combined winnings of more than USD 10 million dollars, including four bracelet winners. The player Advisor product has been designed as a 'must-have' companion to the game for anyone wishing to improve their poker skills and eventually compete against tougher veterans of the game.

Robert Nashak, Glu's chief creative officer, commented: "World Series of Poker is the gold standard, and we look forward to providing fans with the most authentic experience available for the mobile phone. By creating a complete World Series of Poker Texas Hold'em gaming experience and empowering fans with the Player Advisor, we'll deliver hours of entertainment and the most valuable poker insight anywhere."

"World Series of Poker fans around the world can now experience our unique blend of thrills and excitement on their mobile phone," added Jeffrey Pollack, World Series of Poker commissioner. "These products are official, authentic, and - like our tournament - the real deal."

Glu's mobile poker titles will be available on major carriers around the world this autumn.
