Glu Mobile/Sony Pictures TV deal

Latter's games to be distributed by former in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

San Mateo, Calif. – June 18, 2008 – Glu Mobile Inc. (Nasdaq: GLUU), a leading global publisher of mobile games, today announced a strategic distribution agreement with Sony Pictures Television International (SPTI). The agreement allows Glu to distribute a number of existing and new mobile games on behalf of SPTI in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Commenting on the agreement, Mike Wald, senior vice president, pay television and new media distribution, SPTI said: “This agreement with Glu is strategically important to us as we build our digital distribution business. Mobile content, including mobile games, is a core part of our business and we’re delighted to leverage Glu’s distribution expertise to extend the reach of our titles to mobile carriers around the world.”

The first title to be distributed under the new agreement includes the mobile game of the forthcoming movie, Hancock. The game was produced by SPTI and will launch in June. Glu will also distribute the new versions of the mobile hits, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, also produced by Sony. SPTI will continue to manage the development and production of SPTI’s slate of mobile games in line with signature Sony Pictures franchises.
