Glu Announces Extended Partnership with PopCap Games

Multi-year Worldwide Deal Includes AstroPop, Insaniquarium and the Highly-Acclaimed Zuma

San Mateo, Calif. - July 23, 2007 - Glu Mobile Inc. (Nasdaq: GLUU), a leading global publisher of mobile games, today announced an agreement with PopCap Games, a leading developer and publisher of casual games, to extend the companies' multi-year, worldwide partnership to publish three of PopCap's most popular games, Zuma, AstroPop and Insaniquarium for the mobile platform.

Through the agreement, Glu will continue to publish these mobile titles to new handsets and a growing list of carriers around the world. Glu developed and published the mobile adaptation of Zuma in early 2005. AstroPop launched on mobile later in 2005 and Insaniquarium in early 2006. Glu has deployed the titles throughout the world through its partnerships with more than 150 carriers and distribution partners in 65 countries.

"PopCap has pioneered the online casual game space and was one of the first online developers to recognize that mobile is a logical extension for online titles and would be key to extending consumer awareness and adoption," said Jill Braff, senior vice president of global publishing, Glu. "We've seen both commercial and critical success in the games we've published for mobile, and we look forward to continued success with bringing these great games to a growing global audience of mobile gamers."

Zuma mobile has consistently been among Glu's top selling games since it launched in 2005 and remains a top seller on carrier decks around the world. Its engaging game play and superior mechanics have made Zuma one of the most recognized games in mobile. The title has earned numerous awards including the BREW People's Choice Award in 2006 and IGN.com's award for Best Puzzle Game of 2005. AstroPop earned an 8.2 and Editor's Choice Award from IGN.com and a five out of five and Editor's Choice Award from PC Magazine, and Insaniquarium earned an 8.3 and Editor's Choice Award from IGN.com.

"Casual games have proven to be among the most successful genres on the mobile platform," said Jason Kapalka, co-founder and chief creative officer, PopCap Games. "Glu has demonstrated studio capabilities and strong deployment and carrier relationships worldwide, and we look forward to continuing to bring these great titles to mobile consumers worldwide."
