As British streetwear brand Joystick Junkies prepares for another season, the team are pleased to announce the launch of their weekly 12 hour long Friday night parties.
Well known for their video games inspired fashion range and regular industry parties, Joystick Junkies have returned to POP in central London for what is set to be a fusion of fashion shows, video games & talent contests, wild dancers and performances. Joystick Junkies promise a delicious after work party soundtrack featuring gorgeous guitars, funky disco and smooth grooves until midnight. From midnight the action is definitely deep down and dirty house mixed with some great 80's vibes right through 'till sunrise!
As an incentive to share the electric love, Junkies are offering anyone who turns up in a Joystick Junkies t-shirt or some 80's themed clothing between 9pm-11pm, a free beer or wine, plus loads of free drinks will be given away on the night for participants in their usual hilarious antics.
Special events in April include Big Al's Video Arcade Roller Girl Face Off on Friday 28th April and weekly castings for the Joystick Junkies, a team of charismatic gamers for this season's fashion events.
Big Al's Video Arcade Roller Girl Face Off on April 28th will feature a fashion shoot and catwalk show for the new Autumn Winter 2006 collection and everyone at the party will be featured in the Joystick Junkies video.
Starting on April 14th, Joystick Junkies will be casting for the Joystick Junkies - six charismatic male and female gamers who will be signed up for photoshoots and tradeshows over the coming season. The six strong team will also be challenging all comers to the world's greatest video games every week at POP.
