Get-Well Gamers Hitches a Ride with Santa, Makes Early Delivery to Shriners Hospitals for Children - Los Angeles

Santa Claus and pals from Get-Well Gamers to pay special pre-holiday visit on Friday, December 23, to deliver videogames and videogame equipment

WHAT:

The Get-Well Gamers Foundation, a California-based public charity dedicated to bringing electronic entertainment to children in healthcare facilities, today announced that it would be joining Santa Claus for a special pre-holiday party at Shriners Hospitals for Children - Los Angeles on December 23.

The party will be held in the Department of Child Life/Recreation Therapy, and will mark the donation of videogames and videogame equipment to the hospital, thanks in large part to a recent donation to Get-Well Gamers by the Microsoft Corporation.

Party activities will include racing on Mario Kart Double Dash for the GameCube, with special prizes going to the team with the highest score. There will also be treats and other holiday surprises for all attendees. Ryan Sharpe, President of Get-Well Gamers, along with Martha Aragon and John Lee of the Recreation staff, will be on hand to answer any questions.
