GDC China 2009 unveiled

Shanghai event features input by Shanda, Epic Games China and government agencies, set to take place over October 11-13

Think Services Game Group, organiser of the Game Developers Conferences, has announced the second GDC China, set to take place in Shanghai over October 11-13.

The event is supported by an advisory board that includes Shanda, Epic Games China, 9you and DJL International, as well as government agencies. GDC China aims to create unique learning, sharing and networking opportunities for the Chinese market.

"We are excited to return to Shanghai in October to repeat the success of our launch event in 2007," said Meggan Scavio, event director.

"In true GDC spirit, this event will present attendees with the knowledge, skills and networking opportunities to help them get a head start in the burgeoning Chinese games industry."
