GCDC Announces Full Conference Schedule

Speakers and Attendees From More Than 35 Countries at This Year's Conference

Leipzig, Germany - July 19, 2007

The GC Developers Conference (GCDC) today released the schedule for its fifth annual conference, Europe's most important platform for developers, taking place at the Leipziger Messe August 20-22, 2007. The three day conference features speakers and attendees from more than 35 countries around the world and gives attendees a global view of the games industry in a concentrated program.

This year's conference features keynotes, lectures, and panels focusing on next-generation consoles, PC, mobile entertainment, MMO development, and engine technology from industry leaders, as well as presentations from noted academics.

"GCDC 2007 will be a focal point for the game industry as we explore all aspects of development, business, production, and science as they relate to games," said Frank Sliwka, director of GCDC. "We will announce additional keynotes and very high-profile panels in the coming weeks."

"We had a tremendous number of potential speakers this year and the task of deciding which topics and speakers to choose has been an intense process because there is so much going on in the industry right now," said Sean Kauppinen, GCDC advisory board member, and vice president of Kohnke Communications. "The board feels that we have put forth a top-notch program and we look forward to the reaction of the conference attendees."

GCDC 2006 retrospective
