GC Asia unveils "students' day"

Industry specialists to discuss education and business at the free event in Singapore

Leipziger Messe International Asia, organiser of the Games Convention Asia, has announced full program details for the event's "students' day", scheduled to take place on September 20 .

Sponsored by DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore, the students' day will feature input from Claude Comair, chairman and president of DigiPen, Nexon Mobile CEO Joonmo Kwon, Henry Jenkins III of MIT and Ubisoft's Claude Langlais. There will also be a panel discussion entitled 'What the gaming companies are looking for in fresh graduates'.

"DigiPen is proud to actively participate in the Student's Day at this year's GCA. The GCA Student's Day gives students the opportunity to listen to world-class speakers from the games industry and learn about the business and education opportunities to enter the field of game development", says Jason Chu, COO of DigiPen.

The event is free for students to attend and participate in, registration and reservations for the event can be found here.
