Gaud-Hammer Gaming Group, in partnership with Sports Illustrated, has launched Esports Illustrated.

The publication will be dedicated to covering major events, games, and people within the competitive space.

Esports Illustrated's staff includes president Nafeeza Hassan, editor-in-chief Kali Scales, and publishing manager Zack Patraw.

Rounding out the team is project manager Scott Zackman, social media manager Meredith Wilcox, and Sage Datuin will serve as the site's digital producer for video and written content.

"Through its in-depth reporting, behind-the-scenes coverage, and stunning photography, Sports Illustrated became a household name in sports," said Scales in the vertical's welcome message.

"Our goal now at Esports Illustrated is to stand true to those principles while creating an entertaining and fun look into the world of esports and gaming."

She added that the new publication aims to be inclusive, ethical, fun, and "tough but fair."
