Garry J. Smith/FSAddon.com deal

Chap behind Fighter Pilot 2 Texture Expansion Pack teams up with flight-sim add-on maker.

Francois Dumas of FSAddon.com Publishing reports that Garry J. Smith from Australia has joined forces with FSAddon and chose them to help him market his Fighter Pilot 2 Texture Expansion Pack. The product adds 60 liveries and 13 paint kits for great planes like the F-14 Tomcat, F-15 Eagle, F-16 Falcon, F-18 Hornet and F-122 Raptor. These aircraft are included in the Fighter Pilot 2 product from Abacus Software, which is a prerequisite for using the expansion pack. The F-14 painst also work with Abacus' F-14D Super Tomcat package.

Although this is not a product that's typical for FSAddon, the fact that Garry has for many years enriched the Flight Simulator ’scene’ with his graphics art in various forms and is a well-known figure in the communities, was reason enough for us to welcome him into the team and provide the marketing services to him. Garry's logo’s, shiny ‘metal’ fonts and countless aircraft liveries are known around the globe, so we're happy to get him 'in house'.

FSAddon.com Publishing is a Europe-based software house, specializing in Flight Simulator add-ons, but also providing marketing support and web services to companies and flightsimmers all over the world. Famous titles include such as Misty Fjords, Tongass Fjords, FSCargo and VancouverPlus for FS9, and recently FSX Mission editor, VancouverPlus for SX and Plum Island for FSX.
