Facebook mafia game picked up by Mobilenter; coming to mobiles too.
Lancaster, UK, February 1, 2011: We are happy to announce the acquisition of the Facebook mafia game “Gang's Life” by Mobilenter.
Since research has shown a massive growth in mobile internet use, we, at Mobilenter, were looking to add some social, online games into our games portfolio. The first move in the progression has been buy a Facebook game. We have bought all rights of “Gang's Life”, a startup mafia game launched on Facebook, 2 months ago. The objective of the game is to become the king of the back streets and to manage the whole of the underworld. The player can gain power by doing his duties and, by adding his Facebook friends in his mob. Then, he may extend his underground network by buying guns, plant machinary and properties. We plan to release the mobile client of this game at the end of Q1, 2011. The mobile client will be free and will also compatible with all Java enabled phones.
